The Intellian v80G is a high-gain, high-performance, stable Ku-band marine VSAT antenna system that captures and locks satellites without requiring separate input from the ship's gyro, and allows a stable, reliable, “permanently online” broadband satellite connection on board. With a disc diameter of 83cm, Intellian v80G has a 3-axis stabilization and excellent tracking performance, and does not limit the azimuth range with a VSAT antenna system nearly equal to a 1 meter grade.
The Intellian v80G is the smallest antenna that works without the need for a spread spectrum satellite network. This provides a compact system capable of operating in either TDMA or SCPC networks. The higher-gain RF performance design enables the antenna to operate on the fringes of the signal footprint. The v80G is configurable for SCPC, broadband or hybrid satellite networks, and suitable for high-speed Internet, weather and chart updates, email, file and video transmission, video conferencing, VoIP, VPN and database backup. The v80G is designed and manufactured to meet and exceed industrial and military environmental testing standards. Its vibration, shock and EMC performance ensure high stability in the toughest marine environments.
The new Antenna Control Unit (ACU) supports Wi-Fi connection to the computer. If the ACU is installed at a good distance from the antenna, the built-in Bluetooth connection module makes it possible to connect the computer next to the hood. The Intellian v80G operates with two cables to the antenna, one for the transmit signal and the 8W BUC for power and the other for the receive signal.
Features
Ø There is no need for a satellite-assisted satellite search function: it can capture and lock satellites, and does not require separate input from the ship gyro. If there is a heading instrument, it can be connected through the NMEA interface;
Ø DVB-S2 and narrowband carrier decoding: simultaneous decoding of DVB-S/DVB-S2 and narrowband carriers;
Ø Excellent RF performance, antenna gain and cross polarization isolation;
Ø Simple on-site installation and maintenance;
Ø Wide elevation angle range (-10°~110°), suitable for low latitude or high latitude areas;
Ø Built-in GPS, fast satellite acquisition;
Ø The radome base has built-in LED lights for easy illumination and convenience during maintenance;
Ø Built-in FSK transceiver for faster data communication between the antenna and the control unit;
Ø Built-in test function, from antenna control unit or user-friendly PC version monitoring and control program;
Ø Remote management solution: Remote access, monitoring and control from anywhere in the world. Moreover, routine maintenance is automated, including system upgrades, tracking parameter resets, and system diagnostics (including event logging);
Ø Comply with FCC regulations;
Ø Minimizes weight balance blocks and cables, thus simplifying installation and maintenance;
Ø Supports automatic beam switching via iDirect's OpenAMIP protocol or Comtech's ROSS Open Antenna Management (ROAM) protocol;
Ø Configuring Intellian's i9 satellite TV antenna system to match satellite entertainment and communication systems;
Ø Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity: Connect to the ACU via Wi-Fi and fully control and monitor the antenna via Bluetooth;
Ø The Intellian LAN port provides network connectivity to other Intellian systems to monitor and control Intellian network devices;
Ø Aptus software control;
Ø Save installation and maintenance time: Simplified design allows users to install and set up their own systems without the need for skilled engineers
Ø It can also be upgraded with an external USB drive or Wi-Fi connection hardware;
Ø Modem format: Supports many open standards to make satellite networks connectable.
