UHF Base Station

The JHS-400 is a 400MHz-band on-board communication system which consists of several portable stations, base station, and repeater antenna system which supports smooth communication when vessels are sailing, loading, unloading, and lifesaving operations.

The portable station, which are several handheld transceivers, enable to communicate each other from any working areas. The base station expands the communication range of portable stations. The repeater antenna system relays radio signals between two or more areas shielded each other by ship’s bulkhead to expand communication areas.

Automatic power control circuitry, voltage regulators and overload protection ensure reliable performance. Control circuitry through advanced microprocessors for improved performance and smooth operation.

Handheld devices can perform multi-channel one-handed operation. The buttons and switches of the device are designed to provide safe, accurate and convenient operation control. The device is also equipped with a headset. The entire system is compact and waterproof, ensuring normal use under normal conditions and even harsh conditions, while the entire design minimizes energy consumption while maximizing operating time.

The JHS-400A base station receiver is designed to be compact and supports flexible installation in confined spaces, as well as embedded. In order to achieve complete control of the generally safe shipborne communication, we have configured an internal communication system function with a remote controller in the device. At the same time, the device also has a squelch function to suppress unwanted communication signals.
