Garmin designed this quatix^TM nautical watch for water sports enthusiasts and navigators which can be used with professional marine products, with built-in high-sensitivity GPS receiverand features of personnel falling water alarm, remote control of Garmin equipment, and transmission of NMEA2000 data. The quatix^TM, which combines the nautical features, is also a precision timer with a stopwatch, countdown, virtual starting line, electronic assistant and morem, with built-in 3-axis solid-state electronic compass, thermometer and barometer and altimeter with automatic calibration. Temperature and tide data can also be displayed and shared over the wireless network to other Garmin-compatible products.
